My name is Kedna Amey, MSN, and I am a multi-passionate creative navigating life after becoming a first-time mother at 35.

I wear many roles — mother, wife, believer, sister, friend — alongside professional identities that have shaped who I am today. I have served as a nurse practitioner for 14 years, an adjunct professor, a photographer for 13 years, and since September 2025, a podcaster.

But this space isn’t about listing titles.

It’s about what happens when life invites you to become someone new.

The Woman Behind the Roles

For much of my adult life, I learned how to excel.
How to achieve.
How to show up prepared, capable, and accomplished.

Healthcare taught me compassion.
Education taught me clarity.
Photography taught me how to see people — their strength, vulnerability, and becoming.

And motherhood?
Motherhood changed everything.

Becoming a mother later in life reshaped my identity in ways I never expected. It asked me to slow down in a world that celebrates speed. It required me to redefine success, ambition, and rest. It gently — and sometimes forcefully — introduced me to the reality that growth often comes through pivots, not straight lines.

The Power of the Pivot

At the heart of everything I create is this truth:

Pivoting is not failure. Pivoting is wisdom.

My mission is to encourage people — especially ambitious women and mothers — to lean into the power of pivoting by teaching them how to do so with grace and self-compassion.

We are often taught to push through discomfort, to power forward at all costs. But the most meaningful transformations in my life didn’t come from force — they came from listening. From pausing. From trusting that a detour didn’t mean I was off course.

This journey has ignited a passion in me to encourage women to believe that no matter where you are in life, achieving the unseen is possible — even if you have to make a couple of pivots along the way.

A Faith-Forward Space for Becoming

This is a space rooted in faith-forward inspiration for ambitious women and moms redefining identity, purpose, and power.

Faith has been my anchor in seasons of uncertainty — not as perfection, but as trust. Trust that God is present in the in-between. Trust that calling can expand. Trust that identity is not lost in transition, but refined through it.

Here, we talk honestly about:

  • Identity shifts

  • Motherhood and ambition

  • Creativity and calling

  • Burnout, rest, and realignment

  • Believing in what you cannot yet see

This is encouragement without pressure.
Inspiration without comparison.
Growth grounded in grace.

Why I’m Inviting You Along

Come along this journey with me as I write my first book while mothering, embark on the path to being a public speaker, while photographing women building legacy, and hosting conversations through my podcast that center reflection, growth, and becoming.

I am learning — in real time — that we are allowed to be multi-dimensional. That we don’t have to choose one version of ourselves. That our lives can evolve and still be aligned.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re standing at a crossroads…
If you’re navigating a pivot you didn’t plan…
If you’re learning how to honor both who you were and who you’re becoming…

You are not behind.
You are not lost.
You are becoming.

I am so glad you are here. 🤍
